POSITION: Full Time & Part Time (minimum of 4 days per week)

HOURS: 9am – 5pm

LOCATION: Home based

SALARY: £41,500 - £45,000

YOUR CHALLENGE

Healios Autism and ADHD Service clinicians have a central and vital role within the company, delivering assessments and intervention to neurodiverse individuals and their families. This position requires at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in undertaking ADHD assessments and post diagnostic support and intervention. Healios’ structured assessments involve sessions conducted ‘face-to-face’ via the Healios online platform.

You will be working autonomously to conduct elements of the assessment, with the support of a multidisciplinary team. For this post you would not be required to have completed a non-medical non-prescribing course, however having this qualification would be a great to have. It would also be beneficial to identify in your application if you have experience of conducting other neurodevelopmental assessments. A high standard of report writing is essential for this role.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO HEALIOS

  • A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
  • Hold a Professional qualification and background in one of the following areas: Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Registered Nurse
  • Hold up to date registration with HCPC, BABCP, ACP, NMC or the UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • An excellent understanding of ADHD and how this presents in children and young people
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience of delivering structured ADHD assessments
  • At least 2 years experience of delivering ADHD post diagnostic support and intervention
  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS

GREAT TO HAVE

  • Experience of working in a CAMHS service
  • Experience of delivering autism assessments
  • Worked in a service where agreed targets are in place to demonstrate clinical outcomes
  • Excellent computer skills
