POSITION: Full time & part time (minimum of 3 days), Permanent
HOURS: Flexible - weekday and weekend hours available
LOCATION: Home based
SALARY: £41,500 - £50,200 FTE

OUR TEAM
Our Neurodevelopmental Clinical team is the biggest in the UK and our aim is to provide high quality diagnostic assessments by administering ADOS and ADIR as well as in some areas, offering post-diagnostic support to help children, young people and their families understand their diagnosis.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking Autism Assessment Practitioners who are ADOS or ADIR trained, skilled at autism diagnostic assessment and interventions and who are committed to delivering the best outcomes for neurodiverse children, young people, adults and their families. The successful candidate will be a member of a MDT, and will deliver part of the autism assessment alongside support, advice and interventions.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with relevant professional codes of practice and Healios policies and procedures
To actively contribute to multi disciplinary team meetings, working with others to reach a diagnostic conclusion
Manage / investigate concerns / incidents / quality issues and provide reports
Effectively communicate with neurodiverse children, young people and adults, families, internal and external staff
Work within the framework of your regulatory body, and ensure professional registration is maintained
Meet service objectives and key performance indicators
Contribute to audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
First level nursing qualification/registration RN; or First level qualification in OT, social work, psychology, speech and language therapy
Registered with a statutory body (NMC, HCPC, ACP, BABCP, UKCP or BACP)
ADOS or ADI-r trained and experienced
Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives

Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS

PRE- EMPLOYMENT CHECKS
As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check may also be required. You will be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
