The ADOS/ADiR Accredited Trainer will have a central and vital role within the company, delivering training packages in ADOS and ADiR to Healios the Healios neurodevelopmental workforce. 

The training will be delivered to new staff onboarding with the company and to trainee neurodevelopmental practitioners who are part of our inhouse development programme within the Healios Academy. 

The role could include teaching and delivery on the ND practitioner development course.

  • Accredited ADOS and ADiR train the trainer qualification and demonstrated at least 2 years  of post-qualification experience of delivering ADOIS and ADiR training
  • Experience of delivering autism assessments, chairing MDTs and diagnostic decision making. 
  • Professional qualification and background in one of the following areas: Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy. Social Work, Speech and Language Therapy. 
  • Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives

  • A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes 
  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS

  • A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children


  • Experience of working in clinical services delivering neurodevelopmental assessments.  
  • EXperience of developing programs and teaching in education institutions. 
  • Excellent computer skills

As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBScheck. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be Basic, Standard or Enhanced. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
